Gary has over thirty years of substantial alternative asset management fund formation, business, securities law, fund manager operations, securities regulations, hedge, private equity, venture capital fund offering (private placement), initial public offering expertise and experience.  Deep know how of the alternative asset management business model as: (i) managing attorney at a cutting-edge New York City law firm (focus on private equity, hedge fund, venture capital and internet start-ups to IPO practice), (ii) U.S. General Counsel, Chief Legal Counsel and C-level executive across two well- known global investment firms, BNP Paribas and Nikko Asset Management; and (iv) co-founder of successful hybrid private equity/hedge fund to institutional investors of insurance linked securities supported by XL Reinsurance, a global publicly trading reinsurance company.   Gary is uniquely positioned to advise investment advisers, trading advisers and their pooled investment vehicles from start-up execution through the build out of a robust infrastructure and sustainability throughout an asset managers life-cycle across small, emerging to well established global asset managers.   Trusted advisor to portfolio managers, executives to investment firms, well-known private fund focused law firms and consultancy firms.   Gary is an active member of the New York Bar Association and former member of the Pace University Advisory Board and New York City Securities Regulation Committee.  Gary was the first attorney in the United States to register with the SEC, a free share offering on the Internet and created for BNP Paribas subsidiary one of the first QIB fund portfolio offering structures to high net worth investors in the U.S.   Gary serves as a Director to onshore and offshore private fund manager organizations and holds a B.A. and M.D. from Pace University, and J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
